Job Description:  The incumbent in this position will:


-       Demonstrate leadership, motivation and execution of strategies to the entire U.S.  national operation with the ability to travel,


-       Have direct responsibility for operations, P&L, varied financial statements, client services and business development on a national scale.


-       Develop and direct business plans to grow operation in accordance with corporate goals, both organically and through targeted acquisition.


-       Maintain high quality operational standards while delivering upon profit margins.


-       Manage the whole of business development group from marketing to sales and advise corporate on all strategic and technical marketplace findings.


-       Maintain client relations and develop the relationships fully and promote the firm to regional and national institutions.


-       Maintain and grow staffing levels as needed while maintaining an entrepreneurial and hands-on management approach.


-       Develop and maintain training programs to ensure highest quality standards.


-       Coordinate all operational activities with appropriate local, regional and national personnel.



Requirements:  BS in Environmental Science or equivalent is required, but MBA is preferred. Must have at least 10+ years’ experience in Environmental or Laboratory industries. Proven history of growing large scale operations with full P&L responsibility. Experience with acquisition and associated integration is a major plus.
