This is a new position as our client continues to grow in the Capital region. This unique opportunity can be filled by two potential types of candidates.  A less-seasoned candidate who can perform the design and management of land development projects while being groomed to manage the civil team as it continues to grow.  A more seasoned engineer who has managed teams, who still enjoys the design and management of land development projects in the short term and as the group continues to grow, the shifting of duties to operations management for the long term.   

 

 

Job Description:

 

The incumbent in this position must:

 

·         Be able to perform the gamut of design and management of land development projects in the Capital Region.

·         Assist, design and lead where needed, all aspects of land development and municipal projects

·         Be able to work clientele in the public, private and municipal arenas.

·         Work with all levels of management, staff, and cross functional teams to ensure project delivery

·         Work with other team members in developing work plans, reports, proposals, subcontractors and field inspections and investigations

·         Be able to mentor and develop junior staff as the civil group continues to grow.

 

 

 

Requirements: BS or MS in Civil Engineering or related discipline.  Minimum of 5 years’ experience will be considered and a PA, P.E. registration, reciprocity, EIT or a quick path to P.E. is mandatory.
