Company Description:   Our client is a small, privately held firm that works on high end environmental projects for almost 20 years now in Southern California.  With their impressive list of loyal and repeat clientele, they perform the full gamut of engineering, consulting, compliance, planning and construction services.  Their impressive list of clients in the sectors of utilities, municipalities, Army Corp, private, local, state and federal government. 


This candidate should have the desire for growth and a leadership track, to either hit the ground running as branch manager or quickly grow into branch management. 


This person should be at the point in their career where there is importance for a firm with steady growth, a culture with a smaller and more nimble firm that is highly responsive to clients and has enjoyed long tenured staff with that family feel.


Job Description:

The incumbent in this position must:


·         Be able to manage the full gamut of highly technical projects from environmental engineering, consulting, compliance, assessments, investigations, remediation, remedial design, permitting, and contactor management, etc…

·         Be able to work with a variety of clientele from municipalities, utilities, private sector, local, state and federal government

·         Be able to manage and mentor junior staff

·         Be able to assist principals with client stewardship and management

·         Have energy and passion to execute these duties on a daily basis


Requirements: BS in Environmental Engineering, Geology or related environmental field. Post graduate degree is a plus.  P.G. or P.E. registration is mandatory with a strong knowledge of environmental regulations and completion of highly technical projects within the environmental industry.
