Company Description:   Our client is a full service Environmental, EHS & Sustainability consulting firm that has been in business for many decades with locations both domestic and international. This financially strong firm has grown methodically over the years and is looking to continue that expansion on the East Coast.   With a history of diverse projects across the gamut of environmental arenas, loyal and repeat clientele, they work with some of the biggest names in high tech, biotech, healthcare, industrial, commercial and manufacturing around the globe.  They roll up their sleeves, are a very nimble and entrepreneurial company, with high integrity, long tenured leadership and employees.  They do consultative and relationship selling and sell themselves on a daily basis.


Job Description:


The incumbent in this position must:



·         Grow and develop the EH&S and remediation services practice.


·         Has a proven track record of maintaining and expanding existing clientele while developing new business.


·         Management of the entire sales cycle and strong network of business relationships is also preferred.


·         Be able to demonstrate expertise and understanding of the entire EH&S / remediation domain and its’ regulations, data, technical reporting and the ability to provide appropriate recommendations.


·         Can work remotely when necessary and has an entrepreneurial spirit while still collaborating in a team environment.


·         Balance utilization with new client development by taking an active, leadership role in trade events, private receptions, regulatory functions, scientific committees and panels.


·         Liaise with current and former colleagues for potential teaming opportunities.


·         Participate in management team's overall business and market planning.


·         Must be a critical thinker, organized and self-motivated.




Requirements:   Degree in a science field preferred, an MS or MBA is a plus.  8+ years’ related experience preferred in environmental, remediation, EH&S or related field with a recent focus in business development.
