Company Description:  Highly respected Environmental Consultancy focusing on industrial, manufacturing, legal, utilities, real estate development, hazardous waste, government agencies, petroleum industry and municipalities.  They offer a broad range of services and expertise which retains clients and expands the knowledge and experience for their employees.  Core competencies are Brownfields, Environmental Risk Assessment and Remediation in addition to Geotechnical and Water Supply. Job Description:  The incumbent in this position will:

 

  • install and maintain groundwater treatment systems.
  • perform soil/water sampling and oversee general field operations.
  • attend to project schedules, costs and performance efficiencies.
  • phase I & phase II investigations.
  • report writing
  • environmental site assessments, remedial investigations, feasibility studies, remedial action design and treatment.
  • experience with soil & groundwater remediation, Brownfields and  NC Tech Regs
  • client liaison

 

Requirements:  BS in Geology, Hydrogeology, Environmental Engineering or Science.  Proven attention to detail/quality must be demonstrated.  A minimum of 8 years of environmental soil and groundwater investigation / remediation experience is required.
