Job Description:  Our client seeks a Principal to join their firm as a Senior Program Manager to manage a large tunneling program in the Mid-Atlantic Region.

The incumbent in this position must be a detail oriented, self-sufficient, self-motivated professional who:

 

  • Performs all duties related to the overall program management, leadership, direction, and coordination of the program team, consisting of numerous staff. 

 

  • Will have core competency experience with the full gamut of the tunneling arena with specific expertise in shaft construction and soft ground tunnels.

 

  • Works with all agencies, consultants, contractors, engineering and upper management in servicing the client. Preferred experience in the transportation and water sectors.

  • Coordinates all deadlines and prepares project work plans, reviews schedule and budgets, and keeps all team members apprised accordingly.

 

Requirements:  A lengthy tenure in the tunneling arena with the most recent years in a leadership role is required.
